UltraStar Deluxe is..

A free and open source karaoke game inspired by the Singstar™ game available on the Playstation®. It allows up to six players to sing along with music using microphones in order to score points, depending on the pitch of the voice and the rhythm of singing.

Don’t ask me why, but I was interested to find a Karaoke software for the PC. Intead I found a Singstar Alternative… for the PC.
It will be interesting to build a HTPC.. instead of buying the Popcorn Hour A-100.

Note that you have UltraStar and UltraStar Deluxe, the last one is a fork.

Saving account

I’ve just opened a new savings account (online only) at Icesave. They will give 5,25% on a yearly basis.
Just checked my application status… currently processing my information. Also my first deposit on the saving account was transferred from my normal bank to the Icesave saving account. This is the first step to activate it… I will get a letter soon, with codes.

Rolling off KLM AM project

After almost a year at KLM AM (Application Maintenance) team, I will be rolling off. My next projects will probably be KPN or Delta (Nutsbedrijf). Not sure which one.

I hope my next project will be closer to home… (wishfull thinking)

The KLM AM is my first ATS java project, the project before KLM AM was the Wanadoo/Orange/Online project, I’ve worked there for almost 2 years.

Got back

Just got back at the begin of this week. It was terrible, flight delayed, got a late train… luckly someone helped me out. The last train driving from Amsterdam to Groningen.. stopped at Zwolle, 15 minutes away from Meppel! Well luckly someone who was living in Meppel had parked his car in Zwolle and gave me lift.

Also I felt little dizzy after arrival. Today I am still not yet 100%.
